Here’s another twist from X factor bosses who are trying hard to keep viewers interested even at the expense of the judges!
The latest twist would see Gary Barlow’s boys, Kelly Rowland’s girls, Tulisa Contostavlos’ groups and Louis Walsh’s over 25s mentored by a different judge as a result of a decision to switch judges.
Sources assume that the move is a bid to increase the show’s crippling ratings which has reached an “alarming” state. The ratings show that “Strictly Come Dancing” has taken quite a lead against “The X Factor.”
Strictly’s Alex Jones said that the show’s rating triumph over The X Factor ,for the first time in four years was “amazing” and that everyone was “Overjoyed”.
She told TV Biz “It’s amazing that Strictly did so well and we were all really, really pleased about it. I’m sure Simon Cowell is not as pleased. X Factor’s had a good run of it but maybe it’s just the way things are and now it’s Strictly’s time to shine this year. The X Factor’s gone through a big change with the new panel. Maybe it’s not gone down as well as the bosses thought without Simon Cowell. People liked the novelty of the new judges at the beginning but now Strictly’s done better maybe they do love Simon and the old panel.”
