Usher and Tinie Tempah to be new X-Factor mentors

Tinie Tempah and Usher are being brought in by the X-Factor judges as new mentors.

Kelly Rowland apparently requested that her friend Usher be her chosen mentor to assist in the Judge’s Houses stage of X-Factor next month. They will select four contestants from the initial eight.

A source said: “Kelly has a lot of friends in high places but has asked Usher to be her wingman. He loves the show as he’s been on it a few times and gets on well with Simon Cowell and the top brass.

“Plus, he knows a thing or two about finding new talent as he was the man who discovered Justin Bieber. It’s fair to say Bieber has done pretty well for himself since.”

N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos selected Tinie Tempah after the show’s producer thought band mates Dappy and Fazer may be too much of a gamble.

A source told The Sun: “Tulisa knows Tinie really well and would love for him to join her with the contestants once they are through bootcamp.

It looks as though Gary Barlow’s acts will be joining Robbie Williams in his LA mansion while Louis Walsh is set to receive the help of old friend Sharon Osbourne and take his contestants to the South of France.
